Gooseberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. gooseberry
    pinch of salt
    pat of butter
Preparation
    Beat eggs and mix sugar and cornstarch together and add to eggs.
    Add other ingredients and mix well.
    Boil until thickened. Pour into prepared unbaked 9-inch crust.
    Cover with top crust. Brush with milk and sprinkle with a little sugar.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven.
