Hot Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. white and purple onions
    40 to 50 hot peppers
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Grind onions and peppers together.
    Heat sugar, salt and vinegar to a boil.
    Add onion and pepper mixture; cook for 3 minutes.
    Fill hot sterile jars and seal.
    Makes about 6 pints. Use water bath for 15 minutes.
