Fig Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cut up figs
    2 c. sugar
    1 pkg. Jell-O (any flavor)
Preparation
    Mix ingredients.
    Cook slowly, stirring often until boiling. Let cook about 20 to 30 minutes or until syrupy, stirring often. Spoon boiling fruit into sterile jars and seal immediately.
