Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves
    1 c. raisins and currants, boiled in 2 c. water 15 minutes
    2 lb. candied fruit
    1 c. walnuts
    1 c. orange juice
    1 c. rum
    2 eggs
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in order in a large bowl.
    Be sure to include any water left in the raisins and currants after boiling. Mix with a medium beater until well mixed.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in a greased ring pan or 2 to 3 loaf pans.
