Caramel Apples(Club Member: Ashley Wilson) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 medium apples
    14 oz. pkg. caramel candies
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Wash and remove stems and blossoms from apples. In top of double boiler over hot water, heat caramel, salt and water until mixture is smooth. Keeping sauce over hot water, place each apple in hot sauce. Spoon sauce over apples until apples are completely covered. Insert skewer in stem end. Remove apples from sauce and chill.
