Mom'S Spaghetti Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 qt. spaghetti sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 lb. cottage cheese
    12 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Cook spaghetti and drain.
    In large bowl, mix butter, Parmesan, salt, pepper and egg.
    Add spaghetti and toss to coat well.
    Spread evenly in 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Brown ground chuck in large saucepan, adding onion, pepper and garlic just as meat starts to cook.
    When meat is browned, drain off fat.
    Stir in spaghetti sauce, sugar and oregano.
    Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti layer.
    Top with meat mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
    Bake 10 minutes.
    Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
    Can be divided into 2 meals and frozen.
