Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 c. celery, diced
    4 eggs, hard-boiled and sliced
    10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    1/2 c. green pepper, diced
    1 medium onion, sliced
    8 slices bacon, fried and diced
    2 c. mayo or salad dressing
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Break lettuce in a 9 x 12-inch glass pan.
    Layer rest of ingredients as listed.
    Mix salad dressing and sugar.
    Spread over top, covering entire top.
    Sprinkle with cheese and refrigerate 8 to 10 hours before serving.
