Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 oz. red food coloring
    1 oz. water
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add food coloring, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift flour, cocoa and salt together 3 times.
    Add dry ingredients with buttermilk.
    Alternately beat until smooth.
    Mix vinegar and soda; fold into batter.
    Do not beat.
    Pour into 2 greased and floured pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
