Shrimp Ala Marinara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 gloves garlic, minced
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes, undrained
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    2 lb. cooked, shelled, deveined shrimp
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. garlic salt
    1 small can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
Preparation
    Heat oil in skillet; brown garlic.
    Add tomatoes, parsley, basil, salt and pepper.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 1/2 hour.
    Stir in tomato sauce, garlic salt and shrimp.
    Cook, uncovered, for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
    Pour over 1 pound of cooked spaghetti.
    Top with grated cheese.
