Hickory Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. small hickory nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix well and cook in 2 (9-inch) pans for 25 minutes at 375\u00b0. (Or may use cake mix.)
