Grandmother'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 sticks margarine
1/4 c. milk
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. soda
3 heaping tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Beat softened margarine until fluffy.
Add sugar and continue beating.
Add eggs and milk.
Beat well.
Sift together dry ingredients and add with vanilla.
This well form a soft dough. Divide cookie dough and roll out very thin on floured board.
Cut out and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake on cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 until brown.
