White Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. warm water
2 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. hot water
4 Tbsp. shortening
4 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. salt
2 c. cold milk
Preparation

This makes 4 loaves.
Bake at 325\u00b0
for 35 to 40 minutes. Dissolve yeast and 2 teaspoons sugar in warm water.
Set aside for 10 minutes.
Mix hot water, shortening, salt and sugar in large mixer bowl; add milk.
Add 2 cups flour to make sure the mixture is cool enough to add the yeast.
Add enough flour to make a soft dough.
Knead a few minutes.
Let rise twice, then work out in loaves.
Let rise and bake.
