Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 layer) white cake mix
    1 box vanilla instant pudding
    1 can crushed pineapple (15 1/2 oz.)
    1 can Comstock strawberry pie filling
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake with mix.
    Crumble one of the layers in the bottom of a punch bowl.
    Mix pudding; when set, spread it over the cake. Drain pineapple and spread over pudding.
    Spread pie filling over pineapple.
    Spread Cool Whip over this.
    Sprinkle chopped pecans over this and repeat the layers again.
