Chocolate Raspberry Brownies - cooking recipe

1 c. unsalted butter
5 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped
2 c. sugar
4 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped toasted walnuts
3/4 c. raspberry preserves
Preparation

Butter a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Melt butter and chocolate in a heavy, large saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
Remove from heat.
Whisk in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl; add to chocolate mixture and whisk to blend.
Stir in nuts.
Pour 2 cups batter into pan.
Freeze until firm, about 10 minutes.
