Healthy Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef, chicken or turkey
    1 yellow onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 c. canned, diced tomatoes
    3 c. canned red kidney beans (black or white beans can be substituted for part of the red kidney beans)
    1/3 c. salsa
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Brown meat.
    Pour off any fat and saute onion and garlic with the meat.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1
    hour.
