Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1 yeast cake
Preparation
    Scald milk with sugar and shortening.
    When lukewarm, add yeast and let stand about 5 minutes.
    Stir in 4 cups flour (or enough to make stiff batter), egg and salt. Sprinkle board with small amount of flour and work dough into ball.
    Let rise.
    Make out into rolls and let rise.
    Bake for approximately 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
