Applesauce Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. applesauce
1 c. chocolate chips

Preparation

Sift the dry ingredients together.
Cream the shortening with the sugar and add egg.
Alternately mix the sifted mixture and the applesauce and chocolate chips with the cream mixture.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
