Apple Chip Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. soda
3 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 c. diced, unpeeled apples

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs.
Sift flour, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt together.
Add to shortening, sugar and eggs, then add buttermilk and apples.
