Easy Sauerbraten - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. cubed chuck roast
1 medium onion, sliced thin
1 c. Italian dressing
2 c. water
1 c. beef broth
Preparation
-
Saute meat and onion. Cover with Italian dressing, water and broth. Simmer 3 to 4 hours or cook in crock-pot on low all day. Thicken sauce to gravy consistency with cornstarch and small amount of water.
Serve over egg noodles or rice.
