Apple Butter(Microwave Oven) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 medium quartered apples, peeled and cored
    1 c. apple cider
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    In 2-quart glass casserole combine apples and cider.
    Microwave (High), covered, 8 to 10 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes until apples are soft.
    Transfer to food mill or blender for smoothing, to even texture.
    Return to casserole; combine with sugar, cinnamon, pie spice and cloves.
    Microwave (High) 12 to 15 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes until mixture thickens.
    Store in freezer or refrigerator in sterilized jars.
    Makes about 1 quart.
