Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. long grain rice (raw)
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. tomato juice
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. ham or sausage, fried and drained
Preparation
    Saute rice in oil until golden; add remaining ingredients. Stir well, then cover for 25 minutes or until dry on low heat.
