One Egg Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
Preparation

Cream shortening, add sugar and well beaten egg.
Sift flour and baking powder; add to first mixture with milk.
Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan or two 8 or 9-inch pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
This was my grandmother's recipe.
