Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 baked pie shells or graham cracker shells
    1 qt. strawberries
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    8 oz. cream cheese
    8 oz. Cool Whip/Dream Whip
Preparation
    Wash, drain and hull berries.
    Simmer 1 cup water with 2/3 cup of strawberries and cornstarch for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. While cooling, spread cream cheese over bottom of pie shells. Put remaining berries in pie shells.
    Cover with cooked mixture. Refrigerate until firm (2 hours).
    Serve with Cool Whip.
