Orange Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 box acini de pepe 27 (next to macaroni in stores)
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges (or can use 2 cans)
1 (8 oz.) tub Cool Whip
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Cook macaroni as directed.
Drain pineapple and oranges; keep juices.
In pan, mix sugar, eggs and flour.
Add fruit juices; cook until thickened like pudding.
Add fruits and macaroni to sauce.
Refrigerate overnight.
When ready to serve, add Cool Whip.
Mix well, then add cherries and nuts, if desired and serve.
