Pepper Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 oz. jar chopped pimentos
    2 Tbsp. chopped chili peppers
    3 cans cream of mushroom soup
    3 to 4 c. cut-up, cooked chicken
    12 oz. egg noodles
    1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook onion in butter until tender.
    Stir in pimentos, peppers, soup and chicken.
    Layer 1/2 of noodles, 1/2 of chicken mixture and 1/2 of cheese in 4-quart casserole.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes (until cheese starts to brown) in oven at 350\u00b0.
