Egg Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. good hamburger
    1 tsp. sherry
    1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. brown gravy syrup
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil (in which to cook filling)
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 lb. celery, shredded
    1/4 lb. onion, shredded
    1 1/2 lb. cabbage, shredded
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. m.s.g. (Accent)
    1 can bean sprouts
    1 can water chestnuts, chopped fine
    1 can mushrooms, chopped fine
Preparation
    For filling, mix hamburger with sherry, cornstarch, pepper, sugar and brown gravy syrup in a large bowl.
    Place oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
    Add salt and ginger, then the celery and onion.
    Cook about 3 minutes.
    Add mixed hamburger to skillet, stirring constantly, until the hamburger is in fine pieces.
    When hamburger is cooked, place mixture in a colander and drain off excess liquid into a pan.
    Spread meat mixture out flat to let cool.
