Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening or 1 stick butter
    3/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients, then add shortening and milk. Beat well and then add milk, eggs and vanilla. Beat and pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Cool, then turn out on a rack.
