Boiled Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. oleo
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. boiling water
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. allspice

Preparation

Put sugar, oleo, eggs, raisins, boiling water, soda, cinnamon, cloves and allspice in pan.
Mix thoroughly and let come to a boil. Cool. When cool, add flour and baking powder.
Bake in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan at 350\u00b0 until done, about 25 minutes.
