Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 c. sliced peaches
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Stir in peaches and lemon juice.
    Cook until mixture thickens and boils.
    Boil and stir for 1 minute.
    Pour into 2-quart casserole.
    Keep peach mixture hot.
    Cut shortening into flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, baking powder and salt until mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.
    Stir in milk.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot peach mixture.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until topping is brown.
