Spice Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 c. egg whites (7 or 8)
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    3/4 c. cold water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    all yolks from eggs used
Preparation
    Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and cloves.
    Set aside.
    In another bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until a very stiff peak forms.
    Set aside.
    To the dry ingredients, add oil, water, vanilla and egg yolks.
    Mix until smooth.
    Pour egg whites into yolk mixture, gently folding with rubber scraper until blended.
    Bake in 10-inch ungreased tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
    Towards last heat at 350\u00b0 until done.
    Invert, let cool.
    Stays moist.
