Tapenade(An Olive-Based Appetizer Spread From The Sunny South Of France.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pitted cured black olives
    4 cloves crushed garlic
    olive oil
Preparation
    Mash the olives in a large bowl (they will look like crushed cockroaches), adding olive oil as necessary to make a thick paste. Chill.
    Serve in a shallow glass bowl decorated with parsley. Put the bowl on a tray and surround it with crusty French bread or pita triangles.
    Serves 8 people.
