White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pineapple (candied)
    1 lb. cherries (candied)
    1/2 box white raisins
    2 c. chopped nuts
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. self-rising flour
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and vanilla. Mix in fruit and nuts. (May have to mix with hand.) Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake in preheated oven at 275\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Cool about 30 minutes. Loosen edges and remove from pan.
