Ham And Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, cut in thin strips
    1/4 c. thinly chopped onion rings
    1 c. slivered leftover ham
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    dash of ground clove
    1 1/2 c. light cream
Preparation
    Prepare pie shell.
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Spread cheese strips on bottom of pie shell, then top with onion rings and ham.
    In a bowl, beat eggs, flour, salt, pepper and cloves until well blended.
    Stir in cream and carefully pour over ham and cheese. Bake 15 minutes; reduce temperature to 325\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean. Remove from oven.
    Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
