Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. margarine
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, melted
ground almonds
Preparation

Combine cream cheese, margarine, sugar and extract, mixing until well blended.
Add flour; mix well.
Chill several hours or overnight.
With lightly floured hands, shape level tablespoonfuls of dough into balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool.
Dip half of each cookie in chocolate; coat with almonds.
