Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    4 medium green or red or yellow filling peppers
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 c. cooked rice
    2 Tbsp. ketchup
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (12 1/2 oz.) can Italian style tomatoes
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut bell peppers lengthwise in half. Remove seeds.
    In medium bowl, combine all ingredients.
    Stuff peppers; cover with foil.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until beef mixture is no longer pink inside.
    Makes 4 servings.
