Cottage Pie - St. Patrick'S Day - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 c. chopped celery
10 oz. pkg. frozen peas and carrots
10 1/4 oz. can beef gravy
Preparation

Lightly brown beef in large skillet with onion and parsley. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook peas and carrots.
Drain and add to beef and return to heat.
Stir in beef gravy and celery.
Mix well and heat through.
Pour into a shallow 2-quart casserole dish.
Beat 1 egg into 2 cups seasoned mashed potatoes.
Spoon around edge of casserole.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon chopped chives.
Bake in 425\u00b0 oven until gravy bubbles and potatoes are lightly brown, about 20 minutes.
