Wild Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sausage
    1 pkg. (6-oz) uncooked long grain and wild rice
    1 can (4.5-oz) sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Place sausage in a medium skillet.
    Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown.
    Drain and set aside.
    Meanwhile, in a saucepan bring water to a boil.
    Add rice and stir in mushrooms and sausage. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
