Self-Filled Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (2 layer size)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    dash of salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix cake according to directions on box.
    Fill paper muffin cups (set in muffin tins).
    Cream the cheese with sugar; beat in egg and salt.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Drop one rounded teaspoonful of mix into each cupcake.
    Bake according to package directions.
    Yields 30 cupcakes.
