Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. raw quick-cooking rolled oats
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Put
sugar,
milk,
butter,
cocoa
and salt in a large saucepan and
bring
to
a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in the rolled
oats,
vanilla, nuts and coconut.\tDrop from teaspoon onto waxed paper to make cookies.
