Old English Hot Spiced Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. whole allspice
    2 (2 1/2-inch) cinnamon sticks
    12 whole cloves
    1 tsp. orange peel (optional)
    2 qt. cider
    1/3 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Heat cider and sugar.
    Combine together all the spices and wrap in a piece of cheesecloth.
    (Will be easier to remove them after simmering.)
    Simmer over low heat 15 to 20 minutes or until flavored to your liking.
    Serve hot.
    Great for holiday parties!
