Tomato Soup Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 can tomato soup
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Blend in one can tomato soup. Sift together all dry ingredients and add with raisins and nuts. Mix well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan, or until done.
