Chinese Chews - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 sticks oleo, melted
2 c. light brown sugar, packed (1 box)
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. self-rising flour, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix sugar and melted oleo well.
Add flour and eggs; mix well. Add vanilla and pecans and mix well.
Pour in greased and floured pan.
Bake for 45 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Remove from oven and cool completely before cutting into squares.
Makes 24 cookies.
