Cinnamon Apple Mold Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. red hot cinnamon candies
    1 c. hot water
    1 pkg. orange or lemon flavored gelatin
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 c. cold sweetened applesauce
Preparation
    Place candies and water in saucepan and cook over medium heat until candies are melted.
    Dissolve gelatin and salt in hot liquid.
    Let cool slightly and then add applesauce, mixing well. Pour into mold and refrigerate until firm.
