Cheese Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. extra sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. margarine
    4 c. plain flour, unsifted
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. red pepper
Preparation
    Grate cheese.
    Mix grated cheese and margarine together.
    Mix all dry ingredients together and add to cheese mixture a little at a time.
    Using star disc of cookie press, press out onto wax paper in a long stream.
    Cut with knife in approximately 2-inch strips. Turn these to form a ring and press together.
    This recipe makes approximately 25 dozen rings.
