Mama'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    dash of salt
    butter (size of an egg)
    1 Tbsp. buttermilk (optional)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    flour, sifted
Preparation
    Sift several cups of flour (3 to 4 cups) into large mixing bowl.
    Add butter to sugar into well made in center of sifted flour; cream.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Add vanilla and salt.
    Work enough flour into mixture to make dough stiff enough to roll and cut.
    Place cookies on cookie sheet and bake until as brown as desired.
    Bake at about 350\u00b0.
