Ingredients

1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. plain flour
1/2 c. Crisco
2 qt. blackberries
3 c. sugar
1/2 stick margarine
3 c. water
Preparation

Cut Crisco into flour mixture.
Add water to make soft dough consistency.
Put berries in a 9 x 13-inch pan with sugar, water and margarine.
Bring to rolling boil.
Roll out 2/3 of the dough thin on floured waxed paper.
Cut into strips.
Drop into boiled berry mix.
Roll out remaining dough in strips.
Put on top of cobbler.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or golden brown.
