Baked Alaska Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. strawberry ice cream, softened
2 c. packaged biscuit mix
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 egg yolk
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 pt. fresh strawberries, sliced
4 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Foil line an 8-inch round pan; spoon in ice cream.
Freeze firm.
Combine biscuit mix and 3 tablespoons sugar.
Beat together milk, yolk and butter; add to dry ingredients.
Stir until smooth. Spread in greased 9-inch round pan.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Cool.
Place ice cream on shortcake; top with fruit.
Place on board.
