Corn Oysters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. grated fresh corn
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Grate corn.
Add eggs, cracker crumbs and flour, sifted with salt, pepper and baking powder.
Drop from a tablespoon into one inch of salad oil (hot enough to brown bread cube), 40 seconds; turn once.
Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
