Make Ahead Hot Chicken Salad Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken
    2/3 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    3 boiled eggs, chopped
    1 c. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    12 slices bread (crusts removed)
    paprika
Preparation
    Boil chicken; bone and chop.
    Add mayonnaise, onion, mushrooms and eggs.
    Butter 6 slices of bread.
    Put buttered side down in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cover bread with chicken mixture.
    Toast remaining 6 slices of bread and place on top of salad.
    Mix soup and sour cream.
    Spread on top of toast; sprinkle with paprika. Refrigerate 24 hours.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
