Knock 'Em Naked Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 c. nuts, chopped medium not fine
1/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
60 vanilla caramels
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Mix together first 4 ingredients (will be crumbly).
Press 1 3/4 of mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Melt caramels and milk in double boiler or microwave; blend.
Pour over warm cake.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and rest of cake mix.
Bake 18 to 20 minutes more.
Do not overbake.
Cool in pan.
